Reynolds Family Migration Map
According to the journal writen by Henry Johnson Reynolds in 1904, our Reynolds branch began in the U.S. shortly before
the Revolutionary War when his great grandfather migrated from England. Click on the maps above to get a clear picture
of how our ancestors migrated from Virginia to Mississippi between about 1750 and 1838. As can be seen, the Reynolds and
Kennerly families probably moved together to Georgia from Virginia shortly after the war ended and then both families moved
to Tennessee in the early 1800's. Sometime later, the Reynolds and Johnson families connected and lived for many years
in Alabama before moving to Mississippi in the 1830's.
